COSINUS Final Demonstration

eMIR showed it potential by providing a testbed and demonstration enCOSINUS_Logo_130404vrionment to present the outcome of the project COSINUS.

The Demonstration covered communication technology, route exchange and track data exchange to join information from shore and ship into integrated operational pictures.

The ENAV17 Committee meeting took place in Brest aligned with the Safer Seas Conference last week of October.

eMIR @ CAMS in Osaka, Japan

The CAMS conferences are held every 3 years planned and advertised by IFAC Technical Committee on Marine Systems and sponsored by IFAC (International Federation of Automatic Control).

The conference brings together researchers active in new technologies, methodologies and development of control systems for surface vessels, floating structures, sub-sea vehicles, and other devices in marine enviroment.

CAMS was a opportunity to present the base concept of the the eMIR simulation platform and its usage for safety assessment for maritime control systems and human machine interaction design.
